Studio Facilities and Features

Who should consider becoming a member?

Part time or full time professionals who need a studio less frequently and/or want to present a more professional image and working environment to their clients. All without having the hassle and expense of building and maintaining a studio.

Can anyone become a member?

Yes. We have memberships for all levels of experience including students and new professionals just starting out, and looking to learn in the business. We offer ongoing educational workshops and classes as well as opportunities to gain photographic experience working on jobs with experienced pros.

What does the basic membership include?

Basic members are eligible to rent the studio for a substantially discounted rate. Basic membership also includes access to classes and/or workshops offered throughout the month (some may include additional cost).

What do I need to sign up?

Fill out the online contact form, or come by the studio, and we will give you an application. .

How do I pay my membership and monthly fee?

As a part of the application process we will take your credit card information for processing your membership fee. (See the application for details).

Can I cancel/change my membership?

You can cancel or change your membership on or before the 25th of the month.

How do I schedule my time in the Studio?

We have an online schedule for checking availability and scheduling time in the studio.

How many times per month can I use the studio?

Members can sub-divide their monthly allotment of hours across multiple sessions as needed (one hour minimum) during that month. All scheduled time is on a first-come first-served basis. Additional time may be purchased as needed.

How far in advance can I schedule?

One month. However, members planning workshops or classes over an extended period or on a continuing basis will be able to schedule their time further in advance.

What happens if I have to cancel a session?

At this time, cancellations will be allowed with 48 hours notice. Within 48 hours the member will lose the time scheduled. We suggest members establish a deposit and refund policy to cover this contingency.

Can I give or sell my allotted time to another photographer?


How do members access the studio?

The studio is open during regular business hours (check here) and we'll make arrangements for access during any off hours.

Does the studio have heating and air-conditioning?


Does the studio have lighting equipment?

The studio has a limited amount of lighting equipment. More equipment is available for rent (see below).

Can I rent camera and lighting equipment?

We have an arrangement with to supply camera, lighting and accessory equipment for rent here at the studio (whether or not you are renting the studio).

Can I leave some of my equipment in the studio?

Active Pro level members will have access to private, secured storage (limited). Anyone can make arrangements in cases where equipment needs to be left at the studio temporarily (restrictions apply).

Is the parking adequate?

Yes. We have a large parking lot.

Do you have Internet access?

Yes. We have high speed wireless Internet.
